TM car size ?????

Hi again.

When I save my car in photoshop ( image size 2048 ) it looks realy nice in TM , but somehow TM saves the car to image size 1024 and the car looks like sh*t.

Why does TM save the car to a lower image size ?
What can I do to tm doesn't do it ?

Hello, I'm having some trouble rendering a replay, every time I set it to render, it only does the first 10 frames, no matter what settings I use (compression, detail etc).

It's a blockmixed track with a custom engine sound skin, if that makes any difference.

Anyone have a solution to this?

.bik & locator support

Bump !!

I tried to use .bik animated images in the intro of the MT editor. They display correctly both in the editor and while playing the track.
While being played online, these images won't load for other users. Images of .png and other file formats works just fine.
I assigned locators with them. Even when removing the .bik file (leaving the .loc left) when selecting the image, it still won't work.

Are .bik files really not downloadable as MT images ?

I would love to see the models of the 2011 & 2012 F1 cars (not just the skin put on the Stadiumcar). I would be willing to pay 800 coppers for each model. I might be asking a bit much but I'd really love to see them

mpbc 0.1.5 - custom blocks in TM2

mpbc, short for ManiaPlanet Block Compiler, is a new tool that allows you to create your own blocks from scratch and import them into TrackMania 2. Currently it supports the following:

Visual meshes
Diffuse, normal and specular textures
Collision meshes
Separate ground/air variants
Clips
Drawable roads
Start/finish lines, checkpoints
Distribution of custom blocks via ManiaCode

There is a detailed manual to get you started.

One restriction is that to use the blocks ingame, you need TM2Unlimiter (version 0.2.2 or newer). This includes the person creating the blocks and anyone who wants to play a map that contains the blocks. The reason for this is a limitation in ManiaPlanet: .gbx files in the Personal folder are not allowed to reference external files, which is required for blocks (e.g. models need to reference their textures). TM2Unlimiter lifts this restriction.

Download mpbc 0.1.5 (for ManiaPlanet 2012/01/09)
VS2010 runtime (install if you get an error about msvcr100.dll)

Differences with 0.1.1:

Model files should be in the Collada format (.dae) as of now. .3ds is no longer supported.
Visible meshes need a lightmap as of now (see manual).

I guess most of you guys know me, because it's not so long since i played in mp. I had to leave because of some... misunderstandings. I then went afk for about 3 months until i started my team tK. Now i would like to rejoin, as I don't see any point in being in any team but mp nowadays. I won't be such a nolifer anymore. Probably only play some shorts now and then, and maybe nolife a track once in a while.

In the dowload section there is a template for photoshop.
But this is the old stadium car.
Is there also a template for the new stadium car ?

The new car has a changed layout.
I only found the prelight of the car , no template ???
