you mean in TMN, right.. well, as soon as you go online, you have an additional space where you can enter your username...
in the serverlisting, click "show all servers", then click "advanced" in the right menu, then click "account" .. there you can enter your "alternative" username, which allows a few more letters than the one in your offline profile...
